A field sung over at sowing yields half again at harvest, and its crops resist blight and vermin. Anashina folk hold the singing must be done barefoot; the ritual works regardless, but they will not believe it.
Ingredients
- Seed grain from the previous harvest (a handful).
- Spring water poured at the field's corners (4 dl).
- A ladybird, released alive.
- A planting song, sung through twice.
