A zombie is a dead body animated.

Only dead humans, ogres, giants and goblins can be animated into zombies.

The characteristics given in the infobox to the right is modifications based on the pre-zombie characteristics.

A zombie doesn't feel pain and will function until it gets to its negative BP. Due to loss of mechanical functionality, it will get a -2 status when it reaches 0 BP.
