Physical description

Ogres are very much like the Neanderthals except that they are larger. Ogres are a primitive race and thus they rely heavily on physical attributes and skills.

Clothing

Ogres wear furs if anything. The furs are only to protect against cold and when it is warm they usually don’t wear clothes at all.

Social structure

Ogres usually live in tribes of from 20 to 50. Families are arranged so that for every male, there are from one to three females. There are usually about 10 children within one family. Only male ogres hunt. The females only raise the children, gather food and cood. Ogres live almost exclusively in natural caves.

Occupations

Male ogres are hunters. They hunt small animals like rabbits as well as boars, bears, deer and other large prey.

Special skills

Male ogres possess the ordinary hunting skills. Each tribe will have at least one ogre with some medical lore. This person will usually also be a tribal priest or shaman who may possess some magic.

Mental description

Ogres are generally aggressive in nature and they fight very hard for survival whether the enemy is nature or beast. Trespassers will not be taken on lightly. Ogres have many supernatural beliefs that have no basis in reality. Any magic will include many arbitraries and will therefore be very time consuming and hard to learn.
